ECHIDNA – Handwoven Raw Silk Jacket

The Echidna—one of Australia’s most curious and ancient creatures—is a true evolutionary marvel, dating back between 20 and 50 million years. A monotreme, it is one of the very few egg-laying mammals on the planet. Armed with sharp spines for protection and an insatiable appetite for ants, this enigmatic creature moves through the Australian landscape with quiet determination.
Much like its namesake, the Echidna Raw Silk Jacket is a study in understated elegance. Featuring a fantastic abstract herringbone weave, this jacket mirrors the intricate textures of the echidna’s spines, with black and grey silk interwoven with white to create a striking contrast and subtle visual movement.

At Joe Bananas, our commitment to the Perfect Fit is absolute. We understand that every man is unique and we strive to get the perfect custom fit for you.
You will receive a complimentary Fitting Consult (by Zoom) with one of our Lead Stylists with any purchase of a custom tailored Jacket. Our team will contact you as soon as possible to schedule this at a convenient time for you.
This will include full measuring, a styling consult and our undivided attention to ensure you get the Perfect Fit for you and your taste.
We will then craft a pattern with your name on it, cut your garment to size and make from scratch just for you. Our Tailored collection is true custom fitting for the Perfect Fit Guarantee.
