INSPIRATION: Found in many different parts of the world, including Australia, the Tiger’s Eye is a chatoyant gemstone and the clue is in the title. Tiger’s Eye is a most ancient talisman, mysterious and powerful, revered and feared as an all-seeing all-knowing eye.
It has been highly regarded throughout history as a stone of prosperity and good fortune, protecting one’s resources and reflecting malice or threats from others. The Midweight Herringbone weave used to create this outstanding tapestry is ideal for mild to cooler climates.
This is one of the full weighted Handwoven Raw Silk Jackets. It is thicker to touch and will give extra warmth for winter or cooler weather, but still is incredibly light on your back and will perform as all the Handwoven Raw Silk Jackets do in summer.
DRESS IT UP OR DOWN: While this weave lends itself to casual chinos and a white tee, switch to black on black for a night on the town, or warm it up with crimson or burnt orange below.
CURIOUS FACT: Tiger’s Eye was chosen by the Egyptians for the eyes in their deity statues to express divine vision and was believed to provide the protection of the sun and earth combined, of Ra – The Sun God.

You will receive a complimentary Fitting Consult (by Zoom) with one of our Lead Stylists with any purchase of a custom tailored Jacket. Our team will contact you as soon as possible to schedule this at a convenient time for you.
This will include full measuring, a styling consult and our undivided attention to ensure you get the Perfect Fit for you and your taste.
We will then craft a pattern with your name on it, cut your garment to size and make from scratch just for you. Our Tailored collection is true custom fitting for the Perfect Fit Guarantee.

Joe Banana’s is by far the best Mens store in Newport Beach. My wife surprised me with the Harbour Herringbone jacket as a present as we get ready for a European vacation. The jacket can be worn with multiple colored mocks, it’s light, and like all of Joe’s creations, you WILL stand out in a crowd. Bravo!!

The linen dress shirt I bought is impeccable and tailored perfectly. The service at Joe B is top notch and they take their time helping their clients make decisions.
I have been wearing Joe Banana chinos for many years. This pair is one of the new style. Too often changing to a new style ruins a product for me. This is not the case with the newer chinos. I am very pleased with the pants.
The legs are a bit more tailored, but are not tight. The material is a high quality cotton. The waist has a bit of elastic in it, but is still comfortable. The only change that I noticed is that I needed to size down one size, from a 36 to a 34. My older paired still fit the same, so there must be something in the new design that changed the waist size that I wear.
Found them in Sydney many years ago great to have a store in Fashion Island fabrics and patterns are one of a kind
